I'm going to change the spark plugs in my 2004 Hemi Ram with NGK 5306. Could someone please tell me what I should gap them to?

I just looked at the NGK site. On the 2004 5.7 they say .050 and on the 2005 they say .044

Hmmmmm???? I wonder if Jay could explain why the difference in gaps? It's just like each state has a different penalty, for the same crime. No rhyme or reason. Personally, I gap mine a .040, because the gap widens on its own, over time. 2003, Std. i gapped mine .035 for n20
2008 electric blue hemi quad cab lone star edition, Performance mods; pacesetter mids,custom dual exhaust, flowmaster 40s,magnaflow cats, k&n CAI, comp 260 cam,mildly ported heads,6.1 springs,6.1 pushrods,diablo preditor,custom tuned by inertia, power wire, powerdyne tb spacer, jet 180 therm, jetstream air scoop, egr restriction plate, zex n20,ngk 4506 plugs,and 4.56 posi. Dress up mods; westin nerf bars, undercover tonue,swing out tool box,and chrome mtto wheels. |
