When i turn my defrost on the windshield it does not blow very much even on high just makes a loud blowing sound by the passenger side floor anyone know what might be going on?

I just had this same problem. It was the fresh air door that broke off the hinges. From the factory the motor is to strong that runs the door and breaks it over time. If you are still under warranty take it to the dealership and they will fix it for you for free. If not I think its around $250. You might be able to do it yourself but that involves removing the dash so it might be a little much.

i talked to the local dodge dealer he said that they can recalibrate it with there scan tool.

I just had the same problem. Fixed under warrenty and they had to tear the entire dash out. Dodge paid for the whole are box to be changed. Recirc door broke at the hinges.

Just to let you guys know...
I didn't have to take the dash apart.. I just pushed in the tabs on the plastic piece the motor slides onto. so if your out of warranty you can do it yourself. Now I just have to find the door thingy..
And really it didn't take me long at all. But it was a pain.

FYI: 3 hr epoxy glue don't work the 2nd time trying it out..

i taped over the flor vents on mine now defroster works .just feet are cold

I just had mine brake also, it fell right onto the blower motor and was making a loud noise and very little air flow to the vents. does any know if the dealer sells the fresh air door by itself? thanks.
