Ok I need some help/ideas here. I drove home from Wisconsin to Illinois last night with no problems and parked my truck. I come out in the morning and I have power but when I turn the key forward nothing happens. It seems like its a safety shut off or something. I have full power and even tried jumping it to make sure. Then I turned the key forward and jumped the starter with a screwdriver and the starter spun but didnt engage/turn the motor over. I have no idea what this would be. If anyone has heard of this or has any ideas please let me know. Bad thing is my superchips is in Wisconsin so I cant take it off to take it into the dealer right now. Its an 07 1500 with 23K miles. Thanks.

This might sound stupid... but is the truck in park (P) fully? Move the gear selector back and forth just a tad to make sure it's engaged in P.

First, thank you everyone for the replies. Here is what happened. When my E-cutout was installed, they tapped into the ignition wire. Well my e-cutout wire under the truck fell down on top of the exhaust and it burnt the plastic down to the bare wire and causing it to touch the wire to the exhaust causing a short. So it ended up being the Ignition Switch Fuse was blown. Seems so simple now but it was really a pain to figure out. I was really close to taking it to the dealer since it’s under warranty but a blown fuse would have been embarrassing. Thanks again for everyone's reply and maybe this thread will help someone else someday!!
