Im pretty familiar with leaf spring hot rods and was considering bracket racing my truck a little. So my questions is would my truck (an almost stock truck with 3.92 gears) hook with just removing the front sway bar and setting the air pressure. I dont want to buy traction bars and stuff. Just tune the stock stuff.

All of those would work well. I would also get some spring clamps(you could do a forum search if your not familiar)to clamp the front of your overload springs. that helps with spring wrap. I believe you can get a set for $10-$20 bucks. I would also remove your spare tire and your tailgate.

On street tires, with different air pressure, spring clamps,no sway bar,no spare and no tailgate, my reg cab short bed pulled a respectable 2.10 sixty foot at the strip. At the time,I only had a cat-back exhaust and a CAI(no superchips). Oh yeah,I have factory 17's. I noticed you have factory 20's.
