i know...even the book says make sure you use the right lamps...we are not going to tell what they are, but just make sure they are right. ok, it does not say that, but that is how i read it. it tells you how to replace them and gives you that warning...they just do not tell you what to use. thanks for looking out though!

okay, so that was a pain! there were 11 lamps behind the cluster and you have to pull out the whole intsrument panel to get to them. i had to go the dealer to replace my passenger sun visor so when i was there, i just asked for and bought the lamps. they were $2 each but all the auto stores just said pull the lamp and bring it by, we have some lamps. i though it would be easier to just make sure i get the right ones. so you have to pull the light switch panel, the center bezel, and then you can get to the inst cluster. the connections are pretty tight to pull from the panel, so be patient. after you replace 10 lamps, you will wonder where the 11th one is...which is located behind the computer in the panel that you have to un-clip from the panel...you will then see the 11th lamp. last piece of advice...while you have the cluster out, replace all 11 lamps Wink it is so nice to have a nice, bright inst panel again.

do you know what size bulbs they were and if it is possible to put LEDs in the harnesses? I am looking at changing them out to a different color but I need to make sure this is possible.

This might be a source of LED direct replacement bulbs. If we had the bulb numbers we'd know which ones to get.

sorry fellas...i wish i had them for ya. if you call the dealer they may be able to give you more info. they are soldered into a socket that just twist into the board itself. the gauges themselves are colored green so i am not too sure changing the color of the lamp will do too much??
