On long road trips, we don't like having clothes hanging in the back window--the clothes hooks are above the rear (back) window in my 04 Ram. What I'd rather have instead is a hook (?) that goes over the window in the back seat so that as long as the window in the back seat is up, our clothes will stay in place ( sorta like an "over the door" hook in a house).

Not sure if I'm making sense...but I haven't been able to find an "over the window" clothes hook. Does anyone know where I should look?

Thanks!

dunnoYou might try some of those suction cup hooks and use one of those hanging bars between them, one on each back side window. I don't think there is room to use an over the window/door kind of hanger. I gave up and use a garment bag, and lay it in the bed. Frowner

Thanks, Doug. I'll consider those options (the rod and the bag). Smiler

I, too, would like coat hooks on the sides. I don't like the distraction of seeing something swinging in my rear view mirror. (Knowing what kind of comments that last statement will draw...) Big Grin

I have seen (although I don't remember where) coat hooks that hang over the backs of the front seats. That might be what you need and it keeps the clothes out of the way of opening the back doors and out of the back window.

If you can't find one, one sould be easy enough to make. It can attach to the headrest sliders.

That's a great option, Eric! I'm still "Googling" to see what I can find.

Mike, I'll let ya know if I come up with something. Smiler

Something like that with a bar to hangs things on would be good but I don't know how well the clothes would hang that close to the seat.
If you have access to a shop it would be easy. Drill out a piece of metal, 2 holes the spacing for the head rest slides on one side and a hook on the other. Sorry I'm no artist.
You would just have to watch how much weight you hung on it. dunno

Eric,

Those clothes hooks should work! Where did you find those? Smiler

I don't care if it's a bar, as I am low maintenance and will just roll my clothes up and throw them in a bag. Wink

MR. CowgirlUP, however, likes to wear neatly pressed shirts. Roll Eyes

(HE irons them, I might add...) Big Grin
