Has anyone else had problems with the rear window seal leaking from the top? I just recently added one 12" alpine type-r but I really dont think its loud enough to cause this. I am still under warranty but I'm wondering if they'll try and blame it on the sub.... Think I should pull the sub out first? I dont have the window its the one piece rear window and it leaks a decent amount from the top and is dripping down behind the seats.

I have seen cases where "boom boxes" have caused metal braces to crack and spot welds to let go from continuous vibration. Whether it would cause a urethane seal to let go, I don't think so. Remove the sub before you take it in.

Yeah I'm just going to take the sub out. I just hide all the amp wires and installed it behind the rear seat with bracket flip mod so I'm going to leave the amp in. If they say anything I'll tell them I only installed the amp and haven't put a subwoofer in yet. I really dont think it is from my Sub anyways because its only 1 12 and it really doesn't hit that hard. But who knows. My dealer has been really good in the past with warranty related problems.

It could even be your third brakelight letting water in above the window. Never heard of a factory installed window leaking. But who knows?

That's a good point and I read that they can leak. The problem is i took the 3rd brake light off to tint it a few weeks ago.... Therefore the dealer might blame that on me.... The dealer cant look at it till Monday so i'll do some investigating this weekend and see what i find. Maybe I didn't put it back on right or something.
