Who has put on an after market auto start?? How do you like it?? I am thinking about putting one on my Ram and Durango!!

If you're talking about the remote start, it's a great addition that you can do yourself. I put one in my '03 and as soon as the weather gets better, I'm gonna put the same one in my '04.

I bought a simple Bulldog remote start from Wal-Mart for about $45.00, probably the cheapest one they sell and it worked flawlessly for the almost 4 years I used it. If you don't need anything fancy, I highly recommend them. The have very detailed help, photos, installation instructions online to assist you and will answer any questions on the phone too. I took my time and it took me a good day to do it, but it was well worth it.

And as far as range goes, it's more than enough too. I always touch the remote under my chin which does increase it's range.

My sister had one installed on her Ford Escape and the doors lock whenever they want to. Have you had that problem? I am not sure what type she had installed.

I am going to get the auto start installed today for both vehicles!! The wife is paying for them!!
