They vary from vehicle to vehicle, but most of the Chrysler/Dodge ones are not a direct plug and play. I'd classify them as Semi-Plug and play as many of them require you cut and solder connections or remove pins from plugs to relocate them into new plugs.

In addition they typically have to be programmed at the dealership to make them work; sometimes if you are adding the Sentry function it won't let you start the vehicle after installation if it hasn't been programmed as well.
