Mine has been off since I bought the truck.(new) I lent it to my mom for a few days and my alarm is now on. Horn chirps whenever i open the doors, automatically arms....... mom has no idea how she did it and I cant figure out how to undo it. Owners manual is no help. How do I shut it off and just have the keyless entry like i used to?

It should be in your owners manual. I turned mine off so long ago I don't remember. My 04 did that to me once and I had to go through the book to turn it back off. The 08 has been off for over a year and hasn't reset.

Is the alarm an option or is it just something they can turn on in them?
