I'm looking at buying a 1.5 DIN DVD deck for my 05 1500 Daytona, will it fit nicely? Or will I have to modify the opening in the dash? I've heard that the hole in the dash will be too small but I'm looking for more opinions. Thanks.

Here's the deck: http://mobile.jensen.com/jense...ON_PRODUCT_ID=VM8013

I'm getting a hell of a deal on this one for half price so I really want to make it work out.

On further investigation, the website says 1.0 DIN but I've found others that say 1.5. What the hell?

Crutchfield lists 1.0din for Dodges that is why you would need an adaptor to fit their radios. Stock size is 1.5 if it is not a specific non standard size, or the Nav radios wich are 2.0din

Your link shows the radio to be a 1.0din size that will fit with an adaptor kit thatcan be bought from most retail outlets from WalMart to to high end audio shops

Here's the install. It fit perfectly. Sorry about the quality, it's off my phone.
