I have a 07 ram 1500 thunder road that has the towing package but i have a flat 4 pin connector. I recently got a 7' x 16' trailer that has a 7 pin connector. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to convert the 4 pin (male side) of my truck to a 7 pin connector so i can have lights on the trailer when i pull it. Thanks for you help with this matter.

Adapters are available. Do a Google shopping search for 4 pin to 7 pin trailer adapter.

The 07 Ram has a 4 pin conector that is tucked up under the rear bumper just to the left of were the tag is.
