I wanted a Mopar remote start kit on mine to avoid warrenty issues of the aftermarket, until the dealer told me $350 for the kit, and $298 to install it!!!!! Eeker And supposedly no two way confirmation is available on the 2006, but the Dodge website says there is, not that I'd have any money left to do that.

Bummer. Frowner

My favorite mod is a safety feature - EZDown Tailgate Damper - Only $38.00 at Pep Boys. My grandson opened my tailgate when I first got my truck and had all he could do to let it down. This mod lets your tailgate down nice and slowly so I no longer have to worry about him getting hurt.

As for a wish list...traction bars to eliminate the wheel hop and, air bags to eliminate the God-awful squatting under load.

How much do you haul? I've had over a ton (sacks of cement) of weight in mine with no problem...

Maybe 1200-2000lbs of wood. However, I had a pallet (41 bags) of 80lb concrete mix (3280lbs) and I lacked about 1" of hitting the bump stops.

I also had a pallet (minus 10) of 8X8X16 cinder blocks and again lacked about 1.5" of hitting the axle.

Both, I'm sure, over loaded my MegaCab shortbox but, my '98 QC long box NEVER squatted as bad as my '07 does.

Right now it has to be the rims and tires. They improved traction 10 fold over the stockers. However, I still need my leveling kit installed because I've hit the fender wells a couple times. After some off road driving this week I think I need some diff protectors (for the front anyway, smacked a tree stump Eeker). Would like to get a Mag-Hytec diff cover for the rear. I would also like one of these hoods.

Right now I am talking with Stu at Inertia and right now we are discussing the crazy jay on a 113 or the crazy spartan on a 114 - Stu said both will be give good power at lower RPM's into the mid range. I haven't settled on a cam yet - still have about 3-4 months to make up my mind.
