I just bought a 1987 logan coach 3 horse slant trailer and i was curious about the weight of the trailer and my truck, 2006 Mega cab, and i was suprised to find out the total weight of the rig(truck and trailer) is 10,900 and the truck by itself is 7240, which leaves the trailer at 3660. I was just wondering if that is the average wieght of these trucks? By the way the 5.7 hemi pulls the trailer with power to spare.

Mine's not a 4X4. Never found a need for it when I had it, so I don't any more...

Those diesel engines are HEAVY, lot of iron hanging over the front end of that rig.

I don't blame you in the least. It cost more to buy and insure a 4X4. So why have it if your not going to use it. Thats why I traded my Diesel in. When I bought it we had a repo buisness so it was a good thing. We sold the buisness but not the equipment and I just didn't need the diesel any longer. Plus it cost more to maintain, and it was a regular cab. Which was good enought for buisness but not practical other wise for me.
