So I have noticed when im turning and things like that I get kind of a shack in the rear of my truck im guessing its the diff. I thought it was steering at first since its when I turn but paying more attention I think its coming from back there. Does that sound familiar to anyone. I would hate to have to buy a new one I imagine their pretty high. Thanks yall.

If you use some of the synthetics like Amsoil Severe Gear you don't have to use the additive. It's already in it.

So if I drain my rear end making sure theirs no metal I can just put in some AMSOIL rear end fluid and the prob. should be solved??? Well im not trying to start a oil battle but since I run royal purple in my engine id like to keep it all the same no one can argue with that. Anyways I saw RP makes rear end fluid with limited slip additive do I use the 75-140 or 75-90? Thanks.

The 75-140 is for the rear diff on a Ram 1500 and the 75-90 would be for the front diff on a 4X4 1500.

amsoil to my understanding does NOT have limited slip additives. I am running it, had chatter in low speed cornering, added the mopar LS additive and all is well now. RP is the only one i know of that for sure has it pre-mixed.

It won't hurt anything except you might be losing some gas milage.
