Hi all I am going to change the diff oil in the rear of my truck and i have no manual to my truck. What kind of oil and how much does it take? the truck is an 04 2500 4x4 4.10 gears and i may as well do the front diff too. so if you know how much that takes that would be great. i live in upstate new york so i am not sure if cold winters will play a part in slection of the oil if it does let me know . thanks in advance and everyone have a nice day

If you don't do any heavy towing, then Mopar Synthetic 75W140 is the stuff you want... although AMSOIL and Royal Purple are just as good. The stock capacity of the pumpkin is 2.25 quarts. If you have a limited slip, you'll also need Mopar's limited-slip additive. Don't forget the RTV gasket material!

No additive required for the 2500's(10.5 rear)
