I'm thinking about to install a posi/lock at the front end of my truck to improve 4wheeling capabilities. Not to the point of rockcraling at Moab but to enjoy mud and sand... On this month eddition of Off-Road Adventures, I read that Eaton is offering the same truetrac part number P/N 914A538 used in GM 33 Splines IFS differentials to be installed on front AAM 9.25".
I've used truetrac in front applications before and I really enjoyed how it worked.However, I don't want to buy it and then find our that is not a straight installation.
Does anyone have any experience or further information regarding this.
