I have an 04 2500 and want better pulling power. I pull a 7000lb 5ver. Im getting tired of the cummins guys telling me i need a diesel. Which of the programmers has the best towing mode. Im a proud HEMI owner and need your advice.

Superchips has a towing tune, but I haven't tried it. What axle gear ratio do you have? A 4.10 or 4.56 will help in towing.

I recently used the tow tune. Im not sure what all it is supposed to do. But, I was hauling a JD tractor, washer, dryer, and a few dressers full of clothes. Im not sure what it weighed but th tow haul mode you could tell a diffrence. I hit the highway with it and I did pull a chevy full of landscape equipment. I usually run the 87 tune and so I ran th tow tun with 89 octane fuel.
In Summary, it did pull better in the tow tune. |
