We have been doing some development work on the 09 Rams, and today Johan was able to make some real nice gains on the dyno with 87 octane fuel.

So far, its up a solid 35-40 ft/lbs through the middle and 20+rwhp up top, not too shabby.

93 octane results coming soon...

Enjoy.

WOW!!

Hey, if you get a chance I would love to see the older Hemi's plotted against the 09. Either performance tune on the pre-09 you tested plotted against the 09.

Thanks

Have not yet played with CAIs, so not sure if there will be special CAI tunes or not, but there will be MDS disable.

Ridiculous?
Inflated?

LOL.

You guys have to understand a few things here.

This is not 40 ft/lbs from timing alone, if you could see the A/F plots here, you'd see that when you go WOT on the stock tune, it does not go into PE (PE delay) right away, thus it sits at 14.7:1 (at WOT!) for a few seconds and makes nothing for power.
Simply disabling the PE delay is worth about 20-25 ft/lbs of those torque gains, the rest comes from optimizing timing and fueling.

Wouldn't make any sense for me to come in here and claim some crazy gains that cant be reproduced, right?

Thanks
Mike
