iagree That's right, the Diablo still has NO trans control for the 04's since being released in January, but SuperChips has that handled.

good article.

I prefer the U7137's tuning to SC 3815 tunes I used to use.

still have a 3815, tho. 1/4 mile & 0-60 runs are a nice feature, good way to check the gains of your latest mod(s) without having to go to a racetrack.

3815 is also easier to use for a quick check of live data if you only need to see 1 to 4 PID's. you have the option to watch without recording & initial communication with the truck is faster.

I use the 3815 for getting a quick look at LTFT's & STFT's.

but for serious datalogging, the U7137 RULES!!

CMR custom tuning is great too. gets a lot more power out of a heavily modded engine than a canned tune, & the motor runs smoother too.

i agree. what it does it does well, but the lack of tranny control gives it a thumbs down from most people. i would still be running a superchips but after the intake manifold and heads i was running way too lean and needed to add fuel at wot. gotta take the good with the bad i guess.

I was wondering if there was any difference in the U7137 and T1000 as far as the programming and updating abilities? I know the Trinity is play as you go and the U7137 has to be programmed prior. Has anyone tried the Trinity?

Hello everyone. I had a question concerning the quote below (from the article)....do I absolutely need the PC INTERFACE KIT????
I received the programer yesterday in the mail but have not opened it. I do not remember reading that the programmer came with it. i ordered the U7137 by the way.
If i do need it, what will the PC INTERFACE KIT cost??? Let me know im excited to plug and play...
"I purchased the U7137, as well as the PC interface kit, which I was told was a necessity."
