"Mark" Forum Manager Former Hemi truck & Hemi SUV owner  |
Christmas Day we found out that our 16 year old cat "Shadow" kidneys were failing. Yesterday we had to put her to sleep. She was my favorite cat... and it feels like someone just went ahead and yanked most of my heart right out of my chest.
On the morning Shadow was scheduled to go to the Vet's office (yesterday), our 12 year old dog "Oprah" fell down the stairs to the garage and dislocated her hip. Took her in this morning, and the Vet stated she was too old for surgery, and that her other hip was pretty much shot as well. She was in too much pain, so we had to put her down this afternoon. My wife Peg is a basket case and hasn't slept much since Christmas. Please keep her in your prayers for awhile until she's a little bit stronger.
