Well I got it first hand from the Sawbones this a.m.
I will have surgery on my cervical spine on Aug 12th. Replacing discs and fusing 3 vertebre with cadaver bone and metal plate. ( Does this count as Mods?  )They do this procedure through the front of the neck. I would appreciate any prayers from you believers on the site. You non-believers can send money! Thanks, John D.  Sorry to hear your going to have to go through that John. I just went and visited a friend that had that done. His was an emergency though...got dumped out of a bucket truck. If he hadn't landed on his head it would have killed him. He said the surgery wasn't so bad but the neck brace was driving him nuts. Sorry John I don't have any money anyway!

Hey John, Had the same surgery done in 1988. C-5-6-7 but w/ bone from my hip & screws. Ride home from hosp. was scarey  'cause every turn made my head feel like it would roll off my shoulders. Did make it home w/ head intact all the way. My hip was sore as hell though. I've already put in a Good Word for ya w/ the man upstairs.
