GOD has really been looking over Mary Kay and I for the last 18 months but I am asking for your prayers to help us get through this latest episaode.

Some of you may know that I have been battling cancer for some time now. Mary Kay and I went to Tampa for me to have a body scan to make sure the cancer has not changed. Making this trip happen was the begining of GODS intervention.

Since we live a half hour out of the city, my scan was to take place in Tampa. While we were there, my wife of 47 years suffered a stroke. We were completing some paperwork when Mary Kay went to the restroom. We she came back she seemed to be in a stupor. She just stood there and cound not talk. The facility nurse looked at her and said we must call 911 immediately because it appears she has had a stroke. Already being in a medical facility was the second of Gods intervention.

Twenty minutes later we were in St Josephs Hospital which happens to have the areas premier "Stroke Ceneter". This is the third of Gods intervention.

Well everything appears positive so far. There is some kind of medicine which can only be administered within three hours of the first symtoms and she was there only 45 minutes after it happened. Ordinarily I would have been at work and she would have been home alone. Thank you GOD.

She has regained her speech and has no loss of motor skills. She seems to be well but they are running all sorts of tests to determine to cause so it don't happen again. I am so scared in spite of all Gods intervention. I think more prayers can only help. Please add yours to Gods list.
