I had a treadmill stress test yesterday and my heart doc wants to do a heart cath procedure on me this Thursday. First time for me. Bonnie has had a bunch of them. If she can handle it I feel confident I can. I guess being a little apprehensive is normal.

It's a piece of cake Dave. If you have an option have them use a collagen plug then they finish. Instead of 8 hour without moving you'll be up and on your way home in a couple of hours.

Thanks, gang. I'm as much concerned about Bonnie as I am myself. But my son is taking off work to drive us to the hospital and then home. Bonnie's good friend Wanda can spend the night at the house if I have to stay over. I don't care to hear the running commentary by the doc during the procedure. I'll tell them to send me to lala land.

 And they have the procedure down now. i had mine done in 1994 and was like Rancher had to lay still and they held pressurer on the incision for ever.But it was not as bad as i invisioned it would be. Dave I have had several. I know what you are going through. But the test is a piece of cake. They numb you up in the groin and put a catheter into your femorial which goes up into the heart. Usually no pain or discomfort associated with this. You are awake for this.
