No surprise due to all the negative stuff going on in our lives. We do pretty well when certain people leave us alone. Bonnie's son had caused a lot of the problems. His wife is no help either. This is as tough a thing as I've ever had to stand up to and it is taking a toll. I'm still tough, but Bonnie is my main concern. Please pray for us.

Amen. I'm extremely protective of Bonnie and anything like this has me doing a two-step...staying positive for her and at the same time warning her that she is being used. I think she is beginning to understand that.

Thanks, folks. HTCrules

You got mine. I understand your problem as I have a step son that is taking advantage of my wife and I both. Unfortunately she will do nothing about it. He is 41 and still lives with Mommie, unemployed and eats like a horse.

Same thing here. Tough love has a good use. Selling the concept of tough love to a mom is hard. Even a mom with an adopted son (her only child). Maybe even more so in that case.

Today I'm feeling better. I just have to keep a close watch on Bonnie to guard her well being. I get the feeling something is about to change in this saga of the impertinent, audacious ones who were the catalysts enabling the blue funk I've been in. The Karma wheel is turning all the time. Woe be unto him who fails to understand that.

Believe me, friends. If not for all you on here this would have been way too much for one man to bear alone. Of course I pray too...a lot. But a man still needs his own kind to stay centered sometimes. Thanks. thumb2
