not too bad for lightly modded QC. Did you do any track prep? Weight reduction, etc?

My personal best is 9.3x in better than perfect weather (-400DA).... with just a CAI, E-Fan, and Diablo custom tune... zero track prep, no weight reduction. It normally runs 9.5x-9.6x in normal weather.

the truck was how i drive it every day no spare no jack the rack under the rear seats took out and i run the tires at 26 all the time and it has headers and a y pipe and that's all the exhaust and i couldnt find the time slip when i went to get it im going back soon try to see if i can get anything else out of it before any more mods i highly doubt it thought that night was cool low humidity and great traction no spinning

what do yall think of next mods being tuner and efan then im not sure where to go from thier for my goals of mid 8s

Tuner and E-fan will help. Then add a ZEX NOS kit and you should just about be there.

not really wanting to go with nos i would rather build the motor up some to get it there so what would i need to get it into 8s on motor alone ??

lots of weight reduction, good weather, and what jordan said. Lots of 2wd QC guys are getting into 8s without going too crazy on motor mods... picking the right cam, and getting a GOOD tune is the key.
