There is group buy setup for a 25% Underdrive pulley being setup. I am not sure if I can post the vendor here, but here is the thread.

Not sure who the group buy on Dodge Talk is going to go through, but I just contacted PPP, and the individual I spoke with stated these will gain you app. 9hp at the rear wheels on a stock truck, and up to 14hp on a modified truck. These are balancer/pulleys combined. There are different part numbers for the truck and the car, so make sure to get the right one. professor

If it's not the ATI balancer, don't buy it. Stay away from RPM Oulet.

Duanne, maybe you should start a group buy on these kits. I think you need a shorter belt as well.

professor Good insurance policy to change the stock one out with the ATI dampner, underdrive or not. The Hemi's stock cranks have a wicked vibration in the rear that has snapped more than a few pulleys. No pulley, no drivey. Wink

If I can get ATI to come on board, we might be able to do something. Unfortunately, the last 3 times I have tried to order one of the 25% underdrive pulleys, ATI hasn't had one in stock, and they always tell me they will contact me when they get them back in stock, but never do....dunno

It drives the belt driven accessories at a slower RPM, thus freeing up some HP.

Doesn't ATI have a 15 or 18% underdrive. I'd be in for that on my daily driver. 25% seems alot for city driving or hot climates where cooling might become an issue? A thought anyway, could be wrong. dunno

I have heard they run a little cooler because the coolant is in the rad a little longer because of slower circulation.

ASP Underdrive Pulley (SFI Approved) 25% Underdrive LS1 F-Body Street/Strip.

What do Underdrive Pulleys do? Underdrive pulley systems increase engine horsepower by reducing the amount of power required to drive external engine accessories. For example, the alternator, power steering, water pump and air compressor rob horsepower from the engine. By replacing factory-sized crank and accessory drive pulleys with a resized pulley, the accessories are slowed, resulting in more horsepower available to the drive wheels. Typically, a set of Auto Specialties street pulleys will increase horsepower by 12-15, and increase mileage by 2 to 3 MPG.
All pulleys are manufactured from Billet Steel or Aluminum, exceeding factory quality.

ASP LS1 underdrive pulley kit reduces parasitic power losses associated with high accessory speeds, freeing up additional HP. It also reduces the rotating inertia on the front of the crankshaft allowing for faster revving. We have seen just over 13 rear wheel hp increase with this kit installed on stock LS1s.

Uses Gates Belts: K060760 / a/c K040378 SFI 18.1

ASP Underdrive Pulley

Stay away from this brand of pulley. This is the company that makes the underdrive pulley that RPM Oulet sells, which we all know about the toner ring failures that occured after installing their pulley.

The ATI is the only one to trust.
