WTF? I just got a code for accelerator and brake pedal position???? My pedals aren't even adjustable? WTF does that code mean? I cleared it and it went away but wtf

When my truck was learning the cam I had to 2-foot drive it most of the time and gas it at stop signs to keep it from stalling and got this code. I think it also gets thrown after hot-braking excessively, or basically any time the gas and brake pedals are pushed at the same time often.

Hhmmm, I used to power brake it all the time But I haven't done that in a while. I have gotten the lightning bolt lookin dash light a few times from power braking it but never threw a code.

It is probably something the engineers put in it so the dealerships could tell when you are power braking your truck and blame you when something broke from doing that

make sure your brake lights are staying on after you let off, you could possibly need a brake switch, accelerator pedal sensor which you have two of is another input to the pcm which ultimately moves the throttle position based on pedal position it has nothing to do with the physical position of the pedals in and out we use this since we have drive by wire, could be why you had the throttle light on.
