I now hae high comp heads my guess is 10.5 ish..

I need to run cooler.

I have a stat 4127..from Auto zone...I have read that it is a 170 stat and has been tested on other forums to open at 175

What jumper setting do I use on my FK-35 Fan controller...166 or 173 or 180?????

Seems if it lower that 175 the fan is fighting the thermostat??

173 or 180

The ONLY way to truly know what temp your thermo opens is to check upper rad intake with a infrared temp gun once coolant starts flowing/thermo opens.
If your thermo STARTS to open at 175 that typically means that it should be closing at around 180ish... The goal is to have the fan OFF while cruising above 35mph, but still cycle when idling.
I would start with the 180 setting, drive it for a week, then go from there...

hi..used my Superchip to test temp.

With 170 stat

It runs 177 most of the time goes up to 182 when pushing hard with external temp of 79 Degrees.

How does that sound.

I tend to think of using the 180 thermostat.
and set your jumpers on stock setting, which is 180 on the FK35.
