Are there any advantage to the shorties over the full lengths besides a cleaner look?

As far as I know there's no performance advantage to the shorties. But I've heard guys who run nitrous oxide say they stayed with the long wires because the coil packs weren't stout enough to deliver a good spark to two plugs under compression with the nitrous on. With the long wires the wire from the coil pack delivers spark to another cylinder on the other side during its exhaust stroke.
