HI everyone, I have read all the posts on launching in 4x4. I have two questions, with the electric 4x4 selector, does it disengage without lifting? My 4x4 indicator goes out, but I am not sure if it is really off. 2nd question. Can you run it all the way thru the 1/4 mile (100 + mph) in 4x4 without cratering the whole thing.

i have the electronic 4x4 selector, mine flashes if it doesn't make the transfer properly. i have made many 4x4 1/4 mile runs in my current truck and my previous quad cab 4x4 which was supercharged with no problems.

yep, i've done 4 wheel drive launches on a 200 shot and i've been 120mph in 4wd as well, nothing bad happens. 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Reg Cab Short box 4X4 Inertia Motorsports 6.1 Intake Manifold Conversion, Mopar Performance CNC Ported 6.1 Heads, 'Custom' cai, Ceramic coated longtube headers, Full dual exhaust with X pipe and no cats dumped, Comp Cams XFI-268, Comp Cams beehive valve springs, McGaughey's 2/4 drop, Triple pillar pod with wideband air/fuel, nitrous pressure, pyrometer, 175HP 2-Stage Nitrous system, Bottle heater, purge, and remote bottle opener, NGK 4306's, 3400 stall Edge billet torque converter, Diablo Predator, EGR system removed, Electric Fan, 4.56's, FAST transmission control unit, Lucas oil, and 24 inch wheels. Clarion in-dash DVD player with 7" flip up monitor, Clarion GPS, Satellite Radio, Audison 4 channel amp, Focal speakers, DRL's changed from headlights to foglights, Stainless Mopar nerf bars, Mopar tonneau cover, Line-X Spray in bedliner, Stainless fender trim, Chrome door handles, SRT-10 hood, sport/rumble bee lower air dam, Billet door lock pins (wow!!)
