Ok.
Alternator and A/C units just did not want o come off...the rear threaded bushes securing both were corroded into the mounts on the front timing cover mounts and made levering them off really tough. Even being careful..but forceful the following. In the case of the A/C as I levered the unit off I had a short escape of a/c gas from the rear seal on the A/C unit. It stopped as soon as the unit was levered past the mounting points. The releases tool for the fuel line was to thick needed to be made shorter to fit between the fuel rail and the fuel pipe. So i guess some penetrating oil on the end threads would be good. Hope the rest goes better. Keep us posted. TAKE PICS!

next issue...I had those special bolts with C-clips and retainer tags to keep the exhaust manifold bolts in place.
Great when you put them on...no problem....PH just try and take them off.....its a real pain. And Mr Gasket manifold gasket blew on one side...was properly torqued...just burnt through on the rear downpipe head manifold joint. The Stage 8 bolts? As far as I've read is the Mopar gaskets are the best so far?

well going back together...
Head were easy to change..as long as you remember to remove the earth straps and heat sensor. Cam come out and in like a dream. Valve gear was a bit of a muddle got the shafts mixed up....but am using new pushrods so its not really an existing part matching issue. Only issue was fitting my torque wrench on the rear bolts...got round that in the end. Had to swap mu cam to a 268 as the custom cam I had purchased had issues.
Big negative overlap was causing some people issues especially with high compression heads. I needed a full custom tune and to loose egr and MDS...so that was the only way to go.

Hints..
