My friend sent me a text a while back saying there was a complete kit out for 5.7 hemi rams to convert to a stick tranny.I never looked it up but I just did some looking and did not find a kit but I did find this.

All you would need is a PCM out of a 2500 standard shift truck. A custom driveshaft, and the foot controls. Kinda makes me wish I got a rc/sb now. Would be cool to have a 8.1 hemi in a 1500 with a turbo and man. trans. I would imagin you could also special order a 1500 with the hemi and a stick shift.

Hmm, could you special order a 1500 with a stick? The problem with special order is that you have to pay full price though.

Nope. That combination does NOT exist in 1500's. Even if you could get the 6speed manual to bolt up, ECMs swapped out, and everything just right.... the NV5600 (smallest 2500 6 speed manual that will bolt to the hemi) is NOT very sporty, it is heavy, and really isnt geared for speed. |

According to that website they make a bellhousing to adapt to a more sporty tranny. Youd still have the ecm problem though.

I'm not sure. I still haven't found an answer. I'd like to find out because I'd love to put a high perf 6 speed in my hemi.
