Hi..hope this helps.

To remove the fan clutch on my 2006 I used 24inch adjustable wrench for $19 from a well know discount store.

A good old 4lb hammer.

And about a 30inch length of wood.

Here is the trick.

Cut a length of 1.5 by .75 timber long enough to rest on the swaybar bracket and reach the fan pulley.

Put a 1/4inch bolt through the wood at one end and push it into one of the holes in the fan pulley, this jams the pulley... a quick tap on the wrench an off it comes.....unless mine was a fluke.

...what i do wen I did mine and others for cam installs is also used the big adjustable wrench...but I just used a phillips screwdriver and inserted it in one of the holes in the pulley and jammed it against the water pump and just did a quick grunt to loosen...

Hemi4ever made a kewl little tool for the clutch fan to easily remove it with a large crescent wrench.

What we do is take the air chisel and give it a quick tap, then it just spins off, no wrenches involved and it takes all of 45 seconds. thumb2

i used a small board that i drilled two holes in 3 inches apart. then i put two bolts in the holes i drilled out. the bolts will now align with the holes in the fan pulley. hold the board steady while you use a crescent wrench and turn counterclockwise. it came off very easy.
