The rule of thumb is for every 100 pounds you remove you pick up 1/10 of a second in the 1/4 mile.

100% stock, first time at the track and FULL tank of gas. I weighed 5200 lbs and ran 15.4. 7 days later no tool box, no spare, no tailgate, no muffler and 1/4 tank of gas I ran 14.81 and weighed 4800 lbs.

I see you have a SCSB what do you weigh at the track?

By the way, do you have any videos of your exhaust? I want to try those mufflers out.

The local track doesnt weigh here. I need to get out to ennis to see what it weighs with me in it. No videos of the exhaust yet, but ill getcha some. Funny story, I was goin to a buddy of mines house and as i pulled in, he thought i was his wife who has a chevy silverado with longtubes and cutouts open right after them....no cats, and straight pipe w/magnaflows in the rear. Loud! I still have the stock cat, the cutout, and then the moroso. Big Grin

My Flowtechs sound pretty good but they're not quite as rowdy as I wanted. I had a Super 44 and it was rowdy.

Which track do you go to?

I think my best was 9.2 when it was like 75 degrees but humid. That was the last time I went and I was running 14.52 on drag radials.
