Like many in the Modern Hemi Community, I've had the "Hemi Tick" since the day I bought the truck back in May 2004. Seems like every time I modded the motor it got just a little more noticeable. Headers, metal intake tube, valvetrain upgrades, ext....... Figured it was just what the Hemi did, tick, tick and tick.

After an indepth discussion with Stu about his custom pushrod options we decided to swap out the exhaust side pushrods. We went from the Manley 7.850" pushrod to a custom 7.875" pushrod. Immediately the valvetrain ticking went away. I can't remember my motor ever being so quite.....ever.

what does this hemi tick sound like? i have something that sounds kinda like a tick/rattle from the bottom end,top end is quiet.
