I bought my truck used, and it came with a generic drop in bed liner. Does anyone here have any experience with the Bed Rug? I'm curious how well it holds up in the long term. I like the concept, and it seems that it would fit my needs well- no real heavy duty use, just the occasional firewood load and some antique shopping.
I'd just like some input from folks who have it to see how it performs.
thanks

I've had my Bedrug for 3 years and really liked it. I traded trucks today and will order a new one for the new truck. The only thing I would recommend is that if your going to haul wood is to put an old sheet or something in the bed first. Reason for that is that the wood splinters are a bear to get out. I've hauled lots of "stuff" in mine and that was my only complaint. Everything washes out real well but the splinters do get hung up in the "fuzz".

Thanks for the input. I'm glad you mentioned the splinters getting caught. I never would have thought of that. I'll make a mental note of it. It looks really good in the picture for 3 years of use.
Congrats on the new truck. congrats

Thanks BigDog. In light of the list of mods, I'd say that's a glowing recommendation. Oh, and like the wheels- I just put the same ones in 17" on my truck yesterday. I like 'em- a change from the same factory wheels it seems everyone has, but not real flashy. I don't like too much bling. coffee

You're bad dude, writing like that will get you a job on Jay Leno.

BTW, I'm still trying to figure out how the heck you got into my house and Avtar my cat? Best one I've seen in some time. I film him and he just sits there.

Well, in light of the positive reviews here, I got the Bedrug in today. It looks fantastic and I really like that I can crawl up there without the plastic bed liner ribs digging into my knees.
I couldn't believe all the crap that was under the old liner. Previous owner must have done cement work or something. There was sand all hardened in the corners and a bunch of gravel and small stones in there. I'm glad I got all of that out. It couldn't be good laying there sanding off the finish. yuk
