After lots of debate and web searching I ordered the Retrax from JnJ last night, along w/ a few other accessories. It sure is a lot of money. I'm very anxious to get it put on! It may ship today, for a weekend install.
Has any other owner put the drain tubes in the front of the bed? I've heard we had a couple plastic plugs that can be used, but haven't had a chance to look underneath yet.

I did check your price for the tonneau, and the stake pocket cutouts. I think the price was quite a bit different, otherwise I always buy stuff thru HTC members. Sorry

It shouldn't be. Retrax does not allow authorized dealers to discount more than 10% from the sugg. retail price including shipping if quoting publicly. I give the full discount. However, if you walk into my shop, I can sell it to you at whatever price I choose.

But, no worries, I hope you enjoy it, let me know if you have any question!

Congratulations!
I've been thinking of getting one of these. My hard tonneau looks real nice but is a pain in the butt everytime I want to haul anything substantial.
You'll have to take some pics when you get it installed and give us the details.

Hi, I got my tonneau last Wednesday and had to wait 2 days to get it put on. My friend and I had it installed in about 1 1/2 hours Friday night in the dark, that included cutting parts of the bedliner off and taking the rail caps off.
Saturday morning I finished the adjustments and took the plastic coating off. It looks and works awesome! The only downside I've noticed so far, and what other owners have said, is a little rattling from the wind. You can only hear it w/ the back window open, so not a big deal.
I think this will be a great asset for loading stuff in the inclement weather.
Here are a few pictures.

Sorry they're so big. I thought I had downsized them enough!

Yea, looks good. I think that's the wide rails with the stake pocket cut out, right?

Yes, I paid a little extra for the cut outs. I use some retractable hooks that go in there for a cleaner look.

thumb2 You'll love it for sure. I've had 4 other brands and this is the one that works best for me anyway.
