If I were to get this Undercover, do I have to remove the OEM tailgate spoiler for it to fit properly??

Yea, I've been reading and looking at pics for a few hours now and nobody says anything about it. Duane's site is the only one I've seen mention it. I think I may end up taking it off, getting an under the rail Line-X sprayed in and opt for the Undercover or a solid tri-fold (unk which brand yet).

Yup, you have to remove the tailgate spoiler and replace it with a 2002 - 2005 cover.

OR, just use this fact as justification for getting a Rhino or Line-X over the rails spray in liner. Smiler

Wow. $850? That is pretty steep. I get them for $580-$600 and install myself. They are very easy to put on even for folks who are not very mechanically inclined. Only takes 20 minutes or so on a Ram( I have done 3 with friends ). I love those covers. I will never go with a FBG cover again. My 08 will get one just as soon as I have the $$$.

Oh and as said yes you will have to remove the wing style TG cap and go with a traditional flat style one.

I have Undercovers on sale for $639 + tax with free installation until 12-15-08. This price is valid for most short bed trucks. Typically, we don't ship though.
