Just got my extang trifecta (hadda go pick it up from Fedex..they're terrible down here in East NC)

I was very impressed with the product, as it was all ready fully assembled, and weighed only 30lbs. Of course it was pouring rain outside, but I couldn't wait..so I flopped it up on the bed, aligned it, and clamped it down. I had to add 2 pieces of foam strip on the end due to the plastic tailgate cover on the truck, but in all it took 10 minutes for me to install, and it looks great!!

I order this through Duane at 3rd Strike, and as always Duane...thank you! You do a great job with your customers!

I'll post some pics as soon as it stops pouring outside.

The Trifecta has a very simple yet very effective mounting system. It's one of several that I recommend for a soft cover.

If you like the Trifecta but would prefer a hard cover, go with the Extang Solid Fold. It's exactly like the Trifecta except it's made of black powdercoated aluminum (and costs more).

I recently got a Trifecta cover for my 09 Ram. Have any of you with one experienced issues with the cover edge bowing out on the sides where the fold is located? It was that way out of the box. Figured it would flatten by now. Extang says it will over time but wanted to confirm that it will. Looks like crap as is. Is worse with the heat which is expected due to expansion. But being black and in the sun, that will be a common thing.

I have had mine for 2 years now and I love it. The sides did flatten out after about 6-8 months. I get a lot compliments and questions about it.

I went with the full tilt on my 04, great cover. Raise it up, roll it up, lift it off intact; had it on for 3 years and still looks great. Highly recommend it.

topgun, have never had a problem with the full tilt. Tight all the way around; probably dumb ? but have you got the bowes in the top position?

yeah, just at the folds like yours. It is so easy to use and so easy to put on that i overlook that. It did get better over time since it's usually unfolded anyway and if it does get folded it's only for a short period. Overall I'm extremely happy with the cover. ON second look mines not nearly as bad but give it time. beer

The bows don't move like on the other covers they sell. They are screwed into position. Definitely would not recommend this cover. The sides have not changed at all, still wavy, looks like crap. My buddy just got a Full Tilt. Looks much better and is maybe even easier to install and remove.
