Folks-

I have been looking for a set of steel diamond plate bed rail protectors for my 05' Short bed 4x4. Anyone have a good source for these? It seems like all I find are the plastic ones with the diamond plate pattern. I want the metal ones. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks-

Busa

I got some for my GMC a few years ago and they were really nice. Got them through a local speed shop that deals with Keystone Automotive. I will ask today when I go down there. You looking for a chrome/shiny finish or a black finish? Not sure if they even have different choices but I will ask.

Both steel and aluminum are available. Are you certain you want steel or is aluminum OK?

I got the price for both brite tread and black tread either with stake pockets or without. Any way you want them, they are about $100 for the pair. If they are the same as my old ones, they have the heavy duty 3M tape on the whole underneath and they have holes so that you can securely fasten them to your bed, which does require 2 small holes for each bed rail cover.

All-

Thanks for the replies. Aluminum would be fine, and I would prefer the shiny ones with the stake pockets. Hemi Jeff- How do I get a hold of your local speed shop? I might wait until after X-mas, but I definately want them.
You said yours held up nicely?

Yes, mine were really nice. You can call BP Speed Center at 215 672 6730. They might be able to direct you somewhere close to your house, or they may be able to drop ship them. That price does not include shipping. Not sure how much that would be.

Sorry Duane-

I even check your website as a favorite. Never occurred to me to check for the rails with you.
What's the shipping on something like that to Ohio?

Also...any news on when the CAIs might be coming in?

THanks-

Ryan

Probably $25 or so, since they are so long. The Cai pipe is at the local machine shop having the bracket gusseted to prevent breakage. Should be ready Monday hopefully. Have 4 of them up there.
