What are you guys doing with this? I just bought a undercover, but had to remove the tailgate diffuser/spoiler to fit properly. Now there are 4 large holes on the visible side of the tailgate!

You could have a body shop shave them and flip the tailgate handle at the same time.

Current mods:

Exterior: 2003 RC short bed Ram. Chrome 20" Motto wheels, 275/55/20 Bridgestone Duelers, tint, functional SRT-10 Hood, Street Scene bumper cover, de-chromed and painted rear bumper, body matched grill shell, mirrors, door handles, tailgate handle and antenna mount, billet grill and bumper inserts, Bushwhacker street fender flares, polished "Ram" 3rd brake light cover.
Engine: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, 3rd Strike dual filter with throttle body spacer.
Audio: Alpine 9885 with IPod, Infiniti 3.5", 5.25" and 6x9's, two Kenwood DVC 12" subs with three Kenwood amps running it all through Monster Cable wiring. Optima red-top.
Interior: Sueded headliner, color matched A&B pillars, overhead console, and rear light surround.

You can get a new tailgate cap to cover these holes from the dealer. I remember guys asking about this in the past. I don't have a part number but I believe it is a tight fitting tailgate cap that covers the holes.

i called Dallas Dodge parts department.... what a joke. One long frustrating story short, No. UNLESS i buy their mopar cover. They do not sell that piece separately. Hey they only wanted 2,250.00 for theirs, and i quote "it even comes with a wing like the viper truck, that has shown to help your mileage by at least by 4mpg". Ummm... ok, I'll take two!

I did find one at a local Camper and cover retail chain for $39, i'll take some pics tomorrow.
