I am a big Undercover guy. Had them on my last 4 trucks including my current 08 Ram. Not so sure I am a fan of the new look on that SE cover though? Not a lot of info given but it almost appears the new cover is smooth so painting would be easier. Maybe not though.

I will stick with the original. If it ain't broken don't fix it!

I talked to Undercover about that. They said that a little bit of water does puddle there, but it's not very much.

First shipments to wholesalers go out 8-17-09.

I love my Undercover.

The only issue I have is, I have a slight discloration on the cover. Almost looks like a very light white-ish color? Don't really know how to describe it. Has anyone ever had this happen to their undercover?

It is definately the top layer seperating from the bottom layer. I had one do that in 2006. I had purchased it in 2004. I contacted the Undercover customer service and they replaced it immediately.
They had a batch of covers that had the layers seperating.
They have a 3 year warranty and will replace your top. Some other members have had their tops replaced due to the layer seperation as well. Most occurred on tops purchased in 2003 & 2004 from what i was told by Undercover. And they will replace it with the current model. Go Navy & myself received the upgraded cover. Good luck. goodluck1
I am refering to the picture which i just noticed is sent from BigBlock htc sponsor. I assume he is asking you then will tell you the same thing if your cover looks like the picture. Jumped the gun again Big Grin

Cover is a year old. That looks like bubbling in the picture? Don't have any of that yet, but it does have a white-ish color in areas. When I bought it, it had a nice black shine straight through. Do I go through Undercover or the Line-X dealer to check if this is a warranty claim?

Thanks you Steve and BigBlock!

Well, I started the warranty process today and so far I'm not feeling good about it.

Took truck to Line-X dealer I purchased from (heck of a guy) and he confirmed it was fading in 30 seconds. Line-X dealer gave me contact at Undercover. E-mailed pics and all the particulars. Spoke to Undercover representative and here's where I'm starting to believe I made a wrong decision buying from this company. It's as if they're placing the onus on me during this process? The gentleman at Undercover said out of 350,000 covers on the road today, they've never had one taken back for a fading issue? This is after my Line-X dealer told me he replaced two for fading and a couple for peeling. He told me to try to clean the cover again, which I did again? Still fade on cover. I cleaned it before I went to the Line-X dealer today, just to make sure. When I purchased this cover just over a year ago, Line-X dealer said how responsive this company is with claims. So far I feel they're just trying to say it was something on my end. I asked them to talk to the dealer to confirm the fading and he kept going back to the clean it one more time instructions. It's as if the dealer has no weight or expertise in this matter. We'll see how this ends up, but something tells me it's not going to be good. I can only hope it will end positively.

I'm adding a picture of the fading. Pic isn't the greatest, but what you see in the middle is pretty much blotched across the cover.

Keep in mind Line-X dealer, who's an authorized dealer for Undercover, saw this in person and said it was faded.
