I am new to the dodge world, but I am in the market for a 4-6in lift kit for my 2006 mega cab its a 1500 but I have heard that the MC is on the 2500 frame and suspension. Any help would be greatly appreciated

First off welcome9. I've only seen one MC 1500 and it was an HD version. It was like my 2500 which has the straight axle and 8 lugs. Standard 1500 lift kits won't work of course. Usually when looking at lift kit selections they will state what type of Ram they are for. If you don't see your 1500 MC noted, I'd shoot the company an email and ask. Someone else will be by shortly to throw some more input your way. Hope this helps.

The ones I can think off the top of my head are 4.5" lift from Fabtek, 4" from Rancho and 4.5/6" from Revtek. All for the 1500 MC

The difference I believe is the coil spring rate,.. They will have heavier coils for the CTD compared to the hemi MC. The Revtek offers both lifts for either the hemi or the CTD.

2006 1500 QC TRX4 Offroad edition, factory tow package with 3.92's

My mods are located on or in my truck,.. I have come to the conclusion they work better there than posted on here.

Check out the KORE Recon lift kit for your 1500 MC. There are a few other KORE kits, too, but they start to get pricey once you upgrade to Fox shocks. It just depends on how much you want to spend.
