I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton 4x4 Hemi. I am replacing the front axle u-joints. But I can't get the hub nut off. Could the nut have left handed threads meaning I'm just tightening it? Surely it can't be that tight????

There not left hand threads
Eat a can of spinage get yourself a good air impact gun or a 1/2 inch powerbar, a piece of pipe to extend it ..the axle nuts on mine were on like a bear from the factory ...if you havent perforned this repair before good luck its a real pain in the ass...sorry for all the good news Big Grin

Also,.. in my experience, the greasible u-joints fail more often than the non greasible.

My mods are located on or in my truck,.. I have come to the conclusion they work better there than posted on here.
