In early 2007, I had a 97 f150. I was in a parking lot and the starter went, I guess the location was exposed to the elements and it had to be replace a few times over the truck's lifetime. When the tow guy came, I had a problem with my transfer case and we could not get the lever to neutral so he had to get a flatbed. I now have a 2007 ram and my question is, if the truck cannot start, how do I get it in neutral with the electronic shifter?
Also, how do you get it into neutral when it is running, with a pin?

There is a little hole in the bottom left where your 4x4 knob is that has NEUTRAL beside it,.. I believe you can push it in for a second and the little red light will come on.

Have you read the op manual?

My mods are located on or in my truck,.. I have come to the conclusion they work better there than posted on here.

yeah I have, but it is so small, you need a pin to push it. But what if the truck can't start?

Turn the key to on, as long as there is battery power, put the truck in neutral and push the button I guess,... Confused
