Why is the front and rear diff lube different weights?? Is because the front is near more heat?? I want to go to 75w-140 or something like that in both!

The front diff doesn't work under load unless you're in 4WD, so it doesn't heat up as much and you can safely use a lighter gear oil.

I run the Severe Gear 75W-110 in the front diff as AMSOIL recommends.

i run bg synthetic 76-140 as per dodge remember in the rear to add 4oz of limited slipadditive
hemi is gone......09 chevy silverado |
