The 2500/3500 heavy duty tow hooks use a different bolt pattern to mount to the frame. As far as winches go, Warn has a number of mounting options, from the modular Trans4ormer to a hidden winch plate that mounts between the frame rails behind the front bumper. There are also a couple of hitch receiver mounts that allow you to move the entire winch assembly from front to rear (provided you have a Class IV receiver mounted up front).

I use a multimount winch. It mounts front or rear and can be removed of course.

Chad has the baddest rock-crawling 1/2 ton on the planet. He's got a huge write-up/discussion on it over at Dodge Talk and a feature photo in the Readers' Rides of this month's Peterson's 4Wheel & Off-Road. Now he just needs some power mods! Big Grin

Hey rdsetgo, I have the OFF ROAD package which i believe are the heavy duty tow hooks? And it is a 1500. they put a couple of the same acessaries on this package as on the 2500 and one appears to me to be the tow hooks. Maybe someone else with the off road package can verify?
By the way i have been to North Pole Alaska and met you or one of your co-workers. I have a business card that was given to me that i am looking for it to see if it was you. This was 1994. I kept it and would show it to kids to let them know there is a real Noth Pole! When i find it i will let you know the name to see if it is someone you know. It's hard to believe that was 15 years ago. Now that i think of it they are most likely retired by now. Big Grin
