I am getting the service 4WD system in my display so I took it to the dealer to service the system to make sure that there wasn't somthing that needed to be done to get the message to stop coming up. After they finished teh service the message still appeared. They told me that it was a cylinode in the front diff that was probably getting cloged up. THe part is on 38 bucks but in the labor was going to be like 2-3 hours. They said they had to drop the front diff to get to it. Any ideas.... they told me that it would not hurt anything aside from the front different might not transfer the power from to the other resulting in a 3wd system instead of 4wd.
