i have a DJM 2/4 drop on a 04 quad cab. If i put one person in the back seat it will bottom out BAD! It rides good enugh for me with no one in the back but it is rediculous with just one person in the back seat. Has anyone had this problem? it almost seems like i have a busted shock or 2 thats how bad it is. If not how much for helper bags please? I have got to do something. Thanks in advance

These trucks seem to need a C-notch for any decent lowered ride quality. Other brands seem to have more axle to frame clearance. Helper bags stopped my truck from bottoming but lift the rear end to stock height at the same time.

craig,

did you do a rear flip kit? Or shackles/springs?
Those DJM shackles are known for squeaking, you will need to take them back off, and look at the "shinny" areas that are making contact with frame hangers (metal on metal squeak), then either turn shackle around, or grind down the contacting areas just a little... OR, just get the belltech drop shackles that dont squeak. Wink

I am looking at doing a 2/4 or 3/5" with spindles, and flip kit, but will go the Slammed1 route with frame notches, and helper bags (i hope to still be able to tow small trailers).

did you replace your bump stops with flat ones? Mine hit hard until I got some different stops from Slammed1.
